A life of Karma

This is Karma. Despite the appearances, she has had a long, healthy, happy life with us.

This video was taken the morning after we found her. Here, Karma is basking under the sunlight while enjoying her newfound safety. She was quick to claim her turf; she was even barking at other dogs she could hear in the distance.

Karma came to us on a stormy night in late August of 2011.

We frantically searched the surroundings hoping to find her mother and her siblings, but Karma was all alone.

She was in very bad shape, but she had managed to endure her first few days on earth. She was a fighter, and she was destined to survive… we would make sure of it.
